1 week tomorrow...

Jessica has been at the MTC for almost one week. We dropped her off on Wednesday, and OH MY HARD!!! We spent the whole morning together, having breakfast, at the Bountiful temple taking pictures, and saying good-bye. It was a hard thing to do. If we didn't know it was right, I don't think we could ever let her go!
And one more back adjustment from Stu for the road... And after our good-byes, we drove up to the MTC curb, got her bags out, and waved good-bye through the window. She turned and gave us the two thumbs up, and off she went. Thank goodness we know it's right!

Wow. Whirlwind departure, but I think in the long run it is better than the old way...sitting together for a presentation and then watching the mothers who haven't yet come to grips with their missionary leaving sob and sigh and cry and pine away for their missionary as they walk toward the exit. Hard as it is, we are ready for news of the MTC being turned on it's ear!

And Italy has no idea what it's in for!
